NANOMATERIALS

Introduction

NANOMATERIALSHow can nanomaterials be characterised?

Nanomaterials are one of the main products of  nanotechnology

– as nano-scale particles, tubes, rods, or fibres. Nanoparticles are normally defined as being smaller that 100 nm in at least one dimension.

This lesson will give the students significant information about nanomaterials and develop their knowledge about nanomaterials.

Task

How can exposure to nanomaterials be measured?

At the end of this activity, students will have an excellent understanding about the various types of nanomaterials, their structural, electronic and mechanical properties, their applications and latest ongoing research in nanomaterials.
