Legacy of Imperial Rome

Congratulations. You have been chosen travel back to Ancient Rome and investigate the creation and legacy of Imperial Rome. You will need to become familar with Roman society  at the time of Imperial Rome. Your survival will depend on you gaining an understanding of Roman Society.

Three Time Periods of Ancient Rome

Roman History is usually divided into three main periods. the first period is before the rise of the Roman Empire, the Roman Republic and finally the Roman Empire, the later of which was ruled by Roman Emperors. You will be studying the Roman Empire, the 3rd period in Roman history.

 

Imperial Rome began in 30 B.C.E and ended in 476 C.E When the Western Roman Empire collapsed. All up the Roman Empire lasted for over 1000 years and it conquered much of the known world . Its Empire was vast, stretching from England to North Africa, the middle east and right throughout the Mediterranean and most of Europe.
