Introduction
We are familar with fact that the surface of the earth is covered by more than 70% of water. With five oceans: Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, Arctic and the Southern ocean and around 85 Seas in the world, its water volume is estimated to be 0.3 billion cubic miles with an average depth of 3,682.2 meters. A sea is considered as a small area of ocean bounded by land geographically. The geographers have divided sea into two kinds: Marginal Sea, which is partly surrounded by land and Mediterranean Sea, mostly surrounded by land. A top 10 list of the largest seas has been prepared based on their area coverage and geography.
