Immune and Digestive System

Introduction

Welcome! you will be learning about the Digestive and Immune system. Did you know that a lack of sleep affects your immune system? Also, the stomach doesn't do most of your digestion. You will learn much more about these systems in our webquest! Have fun with the human body scientests! 

Task

You will be asked to do the following activities:

  • Answer 4 questions
  • Look for the names of the digestive and immune systems' organs

Also, you must answer these quesions:

  1. How do the immune and digestive system interact?
  2. What happens when one system isn't working?
  3. How many parts are in the immune and digestive system together?
  4. How do you keep your body healthy? Name 4 reasons. 

Note: Remember, you or your group will have to stay on task! Don't get destracted!

Then, you will be asked to do a word search. You'll have to find all the organs in the immune system and digestive system. That is pretty cool to be able to learn all the organs in the two systems. Time to get to work! 

Evaluation

Step 1: You will be graded by how your group did. You will have to work well with your group to get a good score.

Step 2: You'll have a rubric that will have scores of 3, 2, and 1 depending on how good you did. The highest score you can get is

Sentences You had 3 or 4 word answers. A complete sentence is 7-10 words. You had a good sentence which is 7-10 words. Your sentence was great. It has lots of details, and it's at least 7-10 words.  
Puncuation You had multiple mistakes in this project..

You had 1-2 mistakes.

You used correct grammar and had no mistakes.

Answers

You had 2-4 questions answered wrong. You had 1 answer wrong. You had no mistakes. The questions were answered clearly.
Effort You were not on task and didn't put any effort into this project. You put a decent amount of effort into this project. You helped your group a lot. You were on task at all times.
Conclusion

Congrats! You are now officialy scientists! Now you know all of the organs of the immune and digestive system. Mabye one day, you'll be a professional scientest! If you study hard and don't forget the organs, who knows? Anything is possible if you try!
