Wow you kindergarteners are some awesome story tellers. Wasn't that activity fun? This was your first crack at being a writer! Give yourself a pat on the back!! You have made your very own sight word storybook and even read it to the teacher! What a shining star you are!! Creating your book has taught you that you recognize your sight words when you see and hear them, you know how to spell them, and you know how to use them together to make different sentences. I hope you keep your creation so that you are able to share with others and are able to start or add to your collection of books at home!!

Here's some other fun things you can do with sight words:

Point  out sight words to your friends and family when you are out and about such as at the grocery store, on signs, and everywhere else you go!

Make up a song using some of your sight words!

Have a sight word spelling bee with your friends!
