Introduction

Introduction

An accident has happened at the local museum! Some mischevious person switched around all of the names and descriptions of the dinosaurs in 

various exhibits around the museum. The museum needs our help getting their dinosaur 

facts straight. They knew that Ms. Browning's class was the perfect class to ask now that we are newly dinosaur experts. Lets help the museum get back in order before they open up their doors to the public!!

Task

Your Task 

Students will break up into groups of three. Each group-- or dinosaur experts will need to lend their vast knowledge of dinosaurs to help the museum get into tip top shape. 

1. Each group will be given a particular dinosaur

a. write down what you already know about the dinosaur

b. research using textbook and internet to give as much information as possible

2. Compile your Dino Information

a. should include: diet, time of existence, common ancestors, location lived, where fossils were found, and any other interesting information you might want others to know!

b.write down in paragraph form the information

3. Match the Dino with their bones

a. provide reasons as to why you think your dino matches with fossils

4. Combine Fossil and Research Info

a. using all of the information gathered compile all the information in paragraph form

b. present your findings to the rest of your dinosaur expert classmates
