Japanese House Fire

Introduction

OH NOES!!! A house here in  rural Japan had a housefire! We have come to you because you are the best architect nearby. It is your job to research the hosues in this area, study the geography and restructure the house! All of our faith is in you, sir(or ma'am).

Task

1. Create your rough draft . . .

                   a) Must have all required rooms (2 bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, garage, kitchen, dining room, etc.)

             b) Has to have the room sizes (A = lw)

             c) Stairs to other floors if having more than one

2. Create the final copy! . . .

             a) Copy the rough draft on to graph paper

             b) Add furniture to the design of your house based on Japanese culture

3. Write a paragraph on what you learned . . .

             a) Brainstorm all the interesting facts you learned during this process

             b) Create a paragraph using your brainstorm and RAPPS(restate, answer, prove it, prove it, sum it up)

             c) Edit your first draft of the copy and rewrite it for the final draft

2. Research the geography in the area

3. Start building your house!

Architecture Has very neat rooms, design is well, all rooms are accesible and is greatly shaped. The rooms are okay, There could be more but otherwise it has okay design, the rooms are accesible and it is shaped well. The rooms, design and accesibility are okay but could've been done a lot better. I don't know what you have done I think you couldn't have done worse.       /4
Design It looks like you have researched Japanese architecture a lot ! ! ! Wow you did a lot of research but could've done a bit more. You did okay research but it could've been better. Did you even do any research at all?       /4
Paragraph It was a strong paragraph and used RAPPS well. It was strong but could've been better. Was sort of strong but used RAPPS okay. Was weak and used bad details.       /4
Conclusion
