Throughout your entire lives', you guys have been experienced to positive numbers. However, they are a group of numbers that lie before the zero. Today, we will learn about negative numbers.
Imagine that you are President, Founder, and CEO of a major company known as M&C. Over the past 10 years, your company has been very successful, generating more profit than Apple. However, this year... your company did not do so well. Most of your staff has been fired, and your company is debt.
Your job is to take M&C out of debt. At any and all costs... SAVE YOUR COMPANY!!!
Task
Currently, your company is debt. THAT IS NOT GOOD! As President, Founder, and CEO it is your job to keep your company stable and successful.
Currently, you M&C has is in debt by -$1000. In order to get out of debt, your company must make $3000. However, you do not understand the concept of Negative Numbers. Use the following resources to find out how much money your company needs to make in order to get out of debt.
