Explore the World - Webquest

Introduction

Today we have carefully mapped all of the world.

There are almost no places left for people to explore.

This is because that some of our ancestors dared to sail out, with the hope of finding new and rich lands, faster ways to get around the globe - some even went to the top of the world, some even further - into space!

Back then nobody had all of the modern day technologies to examine the place they were going, or find their way to the other side of the globe.

You would have to go there yourself - maybe not even knowing whether you would find anything or not!

Task

Your task is to write minimum a page - maximum two pages - as if you were one of the past's great explorers.

Your story should follow your chosen explorer's timeline.

During your story you should consider following questions:

Where are you going?
What do you expect to find?
How was the trip?
Who do you encounter on your journey?
Were there any compications?
What did you achieve?
In general going into deep descriptions would be nice.
