- This webquest will take you one a journey of Ratio Reviewing. Follow the directions carfully to figure out each problem. Before you begin follow This simple direction.

the content of ratios before you begin. - Be sure to follow all directons carfully so you get each question right.
- Each direction in the webquest will give you a definition of the vocab word and a simple problem to complete.
- The silides will give you the correct ansewer, but make sure you ansewer the questions 1st.
- Make sure to look on the evaluation page for any words in bold.
- After you have read all directions above you are ready to begin the webquest!
Task
- These are the definitions of all vocab words in this unit.
- Prime Numbers: A naturual number that is greater than one. Oppisite of composite.
- Composite Numbers: A positive number that has atleast one positive integer.
- Factors: When 2 are multipled together you get a clear product.
- Multiples: A number that can be divied by another number without any remainder.
- LCM : The smallest number that is a multiple of 2 or more numbers.
- GCF: The greatest factor that dividesz 2 numbers.
- Ordederd Pair: Is a pair of mathmatical objects. Mostly used in graphs.
- Origin: The point on a graph where the x-axis and y-axis meet.
- Rate: A special ratio in which the terms are two different units.
- Ratio: A statment of how 2 numbers compare.
- Unit: Any measerment that there is one of.
- X-axis: The line on a graph that runs horazonitly.
- Y-axis: The line on a graph that runs verticlily.
- Numerator: The top number in a fraction.
- Denominator: The bottom number in a fraction.

- Can you use units when finding the area of a square? ( No, beacause it is a 2-D figure )
- Which way does the x-axis go? ( Left to right )
- Which way does the y-axis go? ( Up and Down )
- In 2/3 which one is the numerator? ( 2 )
- In 5/8 which one is the denominator? ( 8 )
Evaluation

- Product: What you get when you multiply two numbers.
- Remainder: A number that is left over when divideding.
- Graphs: A diagram showing the relation between 2 numbers/varibals.
- Fraction: A numerical qualitly that is not a whole number. A piece of a number.
- Verticilly: Up and Down
- Horazontilly: Left to right or side to side.
- Compare: All they ways they are the same.
