Goods and Services

Introduction

Have you ever stopped and though "What am I spending my money on?" or "What do my parents spend their money on?" The simplest way to answer that question is you or your parents spend your money on either a good or a service. A good is something that you can use or you can consume. For example, food, a CD, a toy, those are examples of goods. A service is something that someone does for you. Getting a haircut, seeing a doctor, a plumber coming to fix your toilet or sink, those are all examples of a service. Today we are going to learn about all different kinds of goods and services!

Task

Now that you ave learned all different kinds of goods and services we are going to apply that new knowledge in a project. You and your partner own a business where you either sell goods of your choice or provide services of your choice. You must create an advirtisement, or a picture, of the good or services you are going to sell. You can choose anything that you want as long as it is school appropriate. Then on the back of the paper please state whether it is a good or a service and be prepared to tell me why. Follow the directions below on how to create your advirtisement. Remember to use your creativity and to work together! If you have any questions please raise your hand!
