Introduction
Anne Frank's story is one of many during a sad and gruesome time in history. On this WebQuest you will learn more about the victims and survivors and the terror they faced.
Task
There are 5 tasks you must complete to finish your quest. Each task will show you new things that will help you to understand the fear that Anne Frank and her companions had of their future.
Process
At this site you will find Identification Cards of victims and of the Holocaust. Scroll through and read their stories. You will need to choose 3 people and write a brief summary about what happened to them.
Concentration Camps
Using these 2 sites, answer the following questions:
1. Describe the living conditions at the
concentration camps.
2. Describe the food given to the prisoners at Auschwitz.
3. How many people eventually lost their lives in Auschwitz?
Using this site, answer the following questions:
1. Why did the Nazis consider children to be unproductive?
2.What was the fate of most Jewish children?
3.What was Kindertransport?

Choose two people from this list and tell how they influenced Anne.
