Welcome to the fascinating world of magnetism! This activity will broaden your understanding and increase your knowlege of how magnets work, and how they are used in everyday life.
Task
•The following websites will serve as a guide enabling you discover the history of magnets, how magnets work, the applications of magnetism in every-day life, and so much more!
•For this quest, you will need to explore at least four of the six websites provided. You will be given a worksheet with four tasks you must complete using the knowlege you gain from your research. Please list the titles of the websites you choose in the provided space on the worksheet.
•Your worksheets will be turned in and graded according to the rubric provided under the evaluation section of this webquest; you will need to earn a minimum of three points on the four-point scale. You will have an opportunity to share your findings with your groups at the end of class!
