Introduction

¡Hola Year 4!

Vamos a investigar más sobre los animales salvajes y escribir una descripción sobre algunos que vosotros vais a elegir.

Con todas estas descripciones vamos a crear un libro para la biblioteca del colegio y vamos a mandar una copia a nuestros pen pals en España. 

We will be investigating more about wild animals and write a description about the ones you choose.

We are going to create a book to keep in our school library and we will send a copy to our pen pals in Spain.

Task

To do a good description about a wild animal you are going to use some web pages and other resources on the Internet that will provide you with information about the wild animal you have chosen.

 

Process

You are going to be working in pairs so you have to divide the task between yourselves.

Step 1. Talk to your partner and decide which animal you are going to choose.

Step 2. Find information about where your animal lives.

Step 3. Find information about what your animal eats.

Step 4. Describe your animal.

Step 5. Find a picture about your animal.

Step 6. Complete the template provided by your teacher.

Step 7. Check your work and make sure your text is correct.

Step 8. Present your work to the rest of the class.

You can use your book to write the facts you find out so you don't forget before completing the template.

What have we learnt?

In this topic, we have been learning facts about wild animals in Spanish. We learnt about their habitat, food they eat and physical description.

Also we have learnt some more facts about other animals thanks to our friends work.
