Introduction
This web quest is set up to help the Jamaican child understand the roles played by the national Heroes in the nation building process.
Task
Students are to create a project on the seven national heroes of Jamaica using sources provided by the teacher and others which they can aquire for themselves.
Process
The student is expected to visit the following website links

and read, listen and watch the content posted by the subject teacher and then use that information along with those they have aquired to make a detailed project on the seven national heroes of Jamaica.
Evaluation
Students will be awarded marks based on the relevance of their findngs (5 marks), evidence of the use of the links to aid in their project (5 marks), presentation (2 marks), spelling and grammer (3 marks) and creativity (5 marks).
TOTAL: 20 marks
Conclusion
Having done this project students will have a greater appreciation for our national heroes as well as identifying how they struggled to make Jamaica free from oppression and helped to create a better future for its people.
