This webquest is all about the Scotland's Higland games.
You wil find aout about it's history, games and traditions.

Task
Follow the instructions in the process, to learn about the games and the history of the Highland games. Write your answers down, so your teacher can check how you get on.
Then, decide, which informations you find the most interesting. Make a short presentation for your classmates. You have five minutes time to tell your classmates about what you've learned. Don't include all themes, but the ones you find the most interesting.

Task 3 :Find out about the history of the skye games and answer following questions:

2. What was the reason for the first Highland games according to Roger Hutchinson?
3. Who are Donald Dinnie and Maculay and what happened betweent them? (key questions: Who played unfair and why did Maculay leave the games statisfied?)

Task 5: Find the programme and decide in which games you would participate in. How much would it cost you to take place in the games you fancy?
Evaluation
The evalutation will include your answers to the tasks as well as your presentation. Each counts half.
The answers from the tasks shall be correct, complete and detailed.
Your presentation is to be prepared beforehand but delivered without notes or text, you may have 5 key words to help yourself remembering the order of what you'd like to tell.
