Introduction
This is the Trigonometry WebQuest. In this WebQuest you will be given geometry problems about gymnastics and you will solve them.
All of the problems that you will be given will involve all of Trig Ratios. Such as, sine, cosine, tangent, and cosecant, secant, and cotangent.
After you are done with this WebQuest you will see how you can use trigonometry in real life. Now just scroll down and click Task to get started!
Task
For this project you are going to be working on your own. You are going to be given different problems and in each problem you would be using
trigonometry ratios. Each problem in the worksheet it will give you real life applications. Showing you how trigonometry ratios is used in another places than geometry class.
Process
In gymnastics you do a lot of cool hard skills. When you do these skills the most important thing you have to worry about is landing.

- Now your last assignment is to chose your favorite olympic gymnasts. Then choose a routine from their Olympic competition and find a video of their routines on each event and put it in a Imovie or Powerpoint. Once you do that you would have to email it to your teacher.

Conclusion
Trigonometry ratios is not just a geometry lesson you will have to learn. Trigonometry ratios is used in a real life situation just like anything else in geometry. What you have done on this WebQuest will hopefully give you an example of where it can be used at. This is only one example that trigonometry ratios can be used. There are several different ways you can use trigonometry ratios. Once you get started in the real world you will be glad you learned it.

This is a Trigonometry WebQuest. I was having a hard time trying to do my WebQuest. I wanted my WebQuest to be based on a topic in a real life situation. So I created a worksheet with different problems in the real world and you have to use trigonometry ratios. Now the next part of this WebQuest is the fun part. I couldn't just have a WebQuest without involving gymnastics because gymnastics is my life its not just a sport to me.
It helps me feel better. Besides the part of me always getting injured because apparently I am accident prone now. Now this is my favorite part of the WebQuest Which was choosing your favorite olympic gymnast and then choose a routine from their Olympic competition and year and find a video of their routines on each event and put it in a Imovie or Powerpoint. I would of loved to do this WebQuest. Good thing I am doing it!
