INTRODUCTION: THE STORY
You are arriving to your job at around 7:30 in the morning. You are a marine specialist at the newest marine theme park in your hometown. The boss of the park asks you to give fish to the dolphins and the orcas for their "breakfast". You arrive at the dolphin tank, feed them their fish, and then travel a little ways to the orca tank to give them theirs. Heading back to the room containing all of the animal food, a thought crosses your mind: How can these tanks hold almost equal amounts of dolphins and whales when they are completely different sizes?! Dolphins are tiny and the orcas are huge! Then, you realize... That's it! They are similar! Parts of the tank are similar shapes! The bases and windows of the tank must be similar! But "how exactly can I prove that?" is the real question here...
