ENGLISH GRAMMAR CONTEST

Introduction

Dear all of my excellent students,

This webquest is designed to widen and stimulate your skills on IT (information Technlogy) using in your studying English, especially on Enlish Grammar that I oriented you during the class time. I felt that almost all of you loved studying grammar, yet, the ways in school made you tired and bored with English grammar. Now my webquest will help you comfort you with what you do and what you gain.

This is some information about the teacher.

His name is Nguyen Thanh An.

His professional major is to teach English grammar.

He is the director of The Up English center.

Task

All of you can seperate into 3 groups of 5 people themselves. Now you should copy the format of the first test that I gave you. Three groups will have one week to prepare and finish your final and perfect work.

Assignment:

  1. Students have to base on the vocabulary of the unit on which one kind of grammar is crucially focused. You will use them to illustrate the structure.
  2. You all should design your final work which includes the form and illustrating examples or usage through slides.

Assignment seperation

  • Group 1: Unit 3 and The Wish sentence
  • Group 2: Unit 4 and The Passive Voice
  • Group 3: Unit 5 and The Conditional sentence (type 1,2)
Process

This part will help you complete your final work easily and effectively. The first tip is how to design a presentation with slides.

Evaluation

This part is mainly focusing on the scoring rubric. The attached table is designed by the teacher.

The total score is 10.

If you have lack of one of the criteria, you will get minus.

After a group finishes their presentatio, the others will give them the score. The final score is the average of two groups and teacher's score to the group.
