Introduction

The iphone has been around for some time making people's lives a little easier every day. we are going to look into how iphone came about and who invented it.
Task

We will see how the iphone evolved through the years to the present and who created the revolutionary device.
Process
In 2000, digital music players were either big and clunky or small and useless with equally terrible user interfaces. Apple saw the opportunity and announced the release of the iPod, their first portable music player on October 23, 2001.
Apple surprised the world on June 29th 2007 when they deciced to boldly enter the cell phone business. Apple partenred exclusively with AT&T Wireless to bring to market the iPhone (2G). The iPhone was meant to represent the merging of Apples iPod with a cell phone / wireless internet device.
July 11th, 2008 Apple gave the critics and users what they had been begging for, FAST 3G internet connectivity. Apple, still partnered exclusively with AT&T Wireless, forced AT&T Wireless to build out and upgrade their cell network across the country to accommodate the increased load/demand generated by the new 3G iPhone.
While the last iPhone – the 3GS – hung its hat on the speed improvements it offered over previous models, for the iPhone 4, it’s all about the visuals. From the phone’s groundbreaking Retina Display screen to its 5-megapixel camera, from HD video recording to FaceTime video calls, the iPhone 4’s top features are all visual, this phone came out in 2010.

Thinner. Lighter. Faster. Simpler. In nearly every respect, this is an upgrade over the 4S that came before. It's the lightest iPhone, even though it's longer and has a bigger screen. Since all the extra room happens outside of your grip you hardly notice it, and this also shifts the phone's center of mass away from the center of your hand, which helps augment the perception of lightness, this new iphone 5 came out in 2012.

In 2014 Apple came out with the new iphone 6. With this new sleek disign and more powerfull metal and glass as to prevent from breaking it is faster than ever with more battery life and all new accesories to make your life easier on the go.

Steve Jobs co-founded Apple Computers with Steve Wozniak. Under Jobs' guidance, the company pioneered a series of revolutionary technologies, including the iPhone and iPad. In 2008, iTunes became the second-biggest music retailer in America—second only to Wal-Mart. Half of Apple's current revenue comes from iTunes and iPod sales, with 200 million iPods sold and 6 billion songs downloaded. For these reasons, Apple has been ranked No. 1 on Fortune magazine's list of "America's Most Admired Companies," as well as No. 1 among Fortune 500 companies for returns to shareholders. Tragically, On October 5, 2011, Apple Inc. announced that its co-founder had passed away. After battling pancreatic cancer for nearly a decade, Steve Jobs died in Palo Alto. He was 56 years old.

Evaluation

Even though Steve Jobs is no longer wth us, people are still making iphones through his legacy and making them better and faster, now even with more colors.
