Introduction
It's Friday night, and you and your friends want to have a night on the town. After covering money and how to make a budget, you feel confident that you will not spend over a certain amount of money. You also feel confident that you know your money, so you are pretty excited!
Task
Your task is to budget your money. You are to figure out if you can go to the events listed in the process section and still stay witin the budget of $60.00.
There are Two steps to the process
Step 1 : visit the locations: go out to eat (pick a meal), Movie, (pick a movie and write the name, and showtime), and go to Botanica Gardens. Add up the cost.
Step 2: Explain if you stayed within the budget of $60.00 and state if you can "Go out on the town" or stay at home. You need to identify what math operation you are going to use.
Process
Here is your issue to solve
This weekend, you decided to test yourself on your money handeling and budget skills. You and your friends decide to visit a few places Friday night. Those locations are as follows:
1.) Out to eat (Buffalo Wild Wings). Pick a meal that you want to eat, just don't eat too pricey.
2.) Movie (Warren Theater)
3.) Bontanica Garden Illuminations event
You and your friends decide on a budget of $60.00. You need to figure out if these activites will cause you to go over the budget or not. If you do go over budget, then you CANNOT GO OUT! You are going to visit websites for these activities and find the prices for them. Then calculate the total that you will spend, and be able to explain if you CAN or CANNOT do the activities. Also... you need to write down the name of the movie and the showtime.
