Introduction

Congratulations!

You have been given a passport and your mission is to travel the globe and find the following examples of landforms. You must be able to define the landform, provide specific locations, the direction you traveled from Pennsylvania, and the general climate of the region that the landform is located in.

At the conclusion of your expedition, you will write an essay or journal entries about the places you traveled and the landforms that you saw. Please be able to share your world exploration with your colleagues.

Task

Explore the landforms of the world. Click on the links to find websites that will allow you to explore various parts of the world.  For each landform please provide:

1. Definition of the landform or body of water

2. Examples- give the name

3. The location (continent)

4. The direction you traveled from PA. (N, S, E, W, NE, SE, etc)

5. The climate of the region the landform is located in.

Document your findings in your passport.

When you have completed your journey, please complete the journal entries to describe and explain the landforms your encountered. (CMQ)

You will also need to share the results of your exploration with your colleagues. (See packet from Mrs. Chandler or Mr. Johnson)
