Once you have completed the quiz, your group will choose one of the three given topics and prepare of a 2 minute presentation in front of the rest of the class. If your group wishes to use its own topic, make sure you run your idea by me first.

Next, you will use the list of websites provided below to complete the quiz. It is an open-book style quiz, so be sure to use ALL of the resources.

Once you have completed the quiz, your group will began preparing for the in-class presentation. You will select one of the following 3 topics for your presentation:
- Demonstrate two simple skeletal muscle movements, and two complex ones to the rest of the class. These movements can range from simple postural changes to full on athletic movements.
- Analyze and explain the differences between skeletal, cardiac, and smooth muscles to the rest of the class. Write on the whiteboard to aid in the explanation and provide examples for each muscle group.
- Using your own words, explain why exercising is important in maintaining a healthy body. Provide the class with a defintion of atrophy, and touch on other dangers associated with not exercising.
