Introduction

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to become the President of the United States and live in the White House? It sounds pretty cool, huh? That's what I used to think too. Now imagine how it would feel to become President during the harshest economic crisis in our country's history. That doesn't sound very fun to me. This is what happened to Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR).

Today, we will take a deeper look into the New Deal programs FDR installed and how he pulled America up by its bootstraps and got this country back on its feet. This activity will provide with a much more in depth understanding of FDR and the New Deal.
