Introduction

This quest is based on Hillenbrand's novel. The quest explores a variety of mediums that pertain to WW ll. After examining all that is on the websites, students will create an essay that discusses how war affected one of the following groups or individuals

  • The American P.O.W
  • Japanese-Americans who were sent to Japanese Interment Camps
  • Japanese living in Japan during WW ll
  • Women in the U.S.
  • Children of soldiers
  • Presidents during WW ll
  • The "Average" American at home
  • Political Cartoonists
