Introduction

WELCOME!

What job do you want to have? Who do you want to be?

A doctor?

    A teacher?

 

        A firefighter?

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               This webquest is designed to explore a variety of jobs, discuss the importance of jobs and experience "a day on the job". You will be working indvidually to make your job posters and share them with class. The exciting part is that you can dress up as your profession! 

Task

Your task is to choose a job/career and make a poster about it. You must include the following topics in your poster:

1. Job description

a. Who are you?

b. Where do you work?

c. Do you wear a uniform? If yes, describe it or wear it.

2. The importance of the job

Why is your job important?

How can you help in the community?

3. Job Tasks 

What are the duties and responsibilities of this job?

During the presentation you will act out one of the duties or tasks of your job.

4. Why did you choose this job?

*Make sure you include pictures in your poster
