Introduction
You are part of a corporate research team assigned to brief the marketing department on new locations to consider for the expansion of your newest product, the Condensolizer. This product take water vapor out of the surrounding air and converts it into potable water. It has been determined that the best way to present location information to the marketing department will be to utilize the five themes of geography.
Task
Working as a group you will demonstrate your knowledge of the five themes of geography by creating a Powerpoint presentation using two selected cities in Europe and the Middle East.
Process
1. Choose two cities, one in Europe and the other in the Middle East.
2. Read the article, "The Five Themes of Geography" by Matt Rosenburg
3. Create a minimum 12 slide Powerpoint presentation.
- The first slide will introduce the group members and the two cities your group has selected.
- The next ten slide should contain information keyed to each of the five themes for both of the selected cities.
- You may present information alternating between the two cities based on geography theme, or by presenting the five themes of the first city followed by the five of the second.
