How to be good in Fantasy Premier League

Introduction

Fantasy Premier League is a game millions of people participate in. You can have smaller competitions with your friends, family members, etc... It doesn't have to be the Barclays Fantasy Premier League. This webquest will help you win basically any fantasy football games.

Task

First, of course, if you don't have an account, you need to create one. Then you will need to create your team. This is an important process, so read the followings carefully.

Process

1. Before the season starts, when you're picking your players, remember to research. Look for player transfers from different leagues, pre-season player performances, and their current team status. If a player played really well last season, it is likely that they'll play well for the current season (unless they're addicted to something, or their team is really crap- but if the team is that bad, he might shine). This, is the most important process for your fantasy premier league career of the year.

2. Stay up to date. By keeping up to date I'm talking about transfers, injuries, and which players are playing well (or not). Try to make sure all your players are in the starting team. Even if he is not the best player, if he's in the starting team, he will get at least 1 point.

3. Make sure your team is balanced. This refers to price and the team itself. Ensure that not 3, 4 players cover half of the teams bank. Also, don't rely on just 3,4 players. If they are injured, it would be hard to stop your points from droping.

4. Plan ahead. It is good to cover your teams defence and attack with big teams, but if you know the league fixtures and plan your team well, you can expect great points.

5. Don't double up in defence. The defenders and goalkeepers gain points by keeping clean sheets, but it's too risky to have two defenders from one team (unless they're both really cheap and really good). So your defence (including your goalkeeper) should be consisted of variety of different teams.

6. Make sure you have at least one superb attacking player in your team. If the team the player is in scores many goals it is almost certain to gain points from goals and assists.

Extra

This year the Fantasy Football game became more detailed with the inauguration of the following "Items".

ALL OUT ATTACK (Allows you to play a 2-5-3 formation in the next gameweek): Nothing special, really. Instead of using it when your attack is superb, I would rather suggest using it when your defence is desperate; injured, suspended, or just terrible in general. It would save you points.

TRIPPLE CAPTAIN (Your captain points are tripled instead of doubled in the next gameweek): To use this card effectively, you have to judge your situation well. Pick a good attacking player, study his next opponent. It would be best to use this card when your main attacking player has 2 games in one gameweek.

BENCH BOOST (The points scored by your bench players are added to your total in the next gameweek): This is why you need a sustainable and durable backup. They're not their just to fill up the 15-players-minimum requirement. So keep a good backup, and use this card when all your players- including bench players- are available.

Evaluation

So if you listened to my advice carefully, by the end of the year (or week) you would have gotten a pretty impresive result.
