Monasticism is a lifestyle of withdrawing all worldly cares and possessions and practicing strict discipline and religious exercises. This was created when Christianity was legalized in Rome the pegans took advantage and started to make there own doctrines and practices.Some people didnt like how the Roman Empire was standing. From the the bad sate of the Roman Empire monasticism was a way to escape from all the worlds problems. Then churches from Rome stated borowing these beliefs and using them. Monastries are the people who oganized or help develop the growing number of men and woman who sincerely believe that the greatest form of piety was to exclude from the wold.

Conclusion

You have learned the struggle Rome been through during this time and how the people went to seek confort. We also learned that during bad timeswe need to rely on God not our flesh.
