Introduction

The Destruction of Jerusalem
In the time of the destruction of Jerusalemm, the Jews were being oppresed by the Romans. The Romans became more insensitive to the religion of the Jews which caused the Jews to oppose the Romans. It was a foolish move because of how powerful the Romans at the time. In AD 70 the war came to its climax as the Roman legions along with their commander Titus as they breached Jerusalem's wall. They then looted the temple and destroyed the city.
