Introduction
The Roman Colosseum
The Roman Colosseum probably used to be one of the most exciting places to visit in Rome. There were tons of events that took place there, like gladiator fights. Gladiator fights are fights in which some people fought each other just to enterain the crowd. People even died during these fights. In fact, lots of people died in the Colosseum for other things too, not just gladiator fights. Executions took place in the Colosseum too. Also, Christians were martyred for their faith there. Its hard to believe that so many exciting things all happened in one building.
