Introduction
Hello, Super Star Students!
My name is Billy, the ANTI- Bully! I am here to help you throughout any type of bully experience you may have or witness. Bullying is a serious matter and will not be tolerated in your classroom and school. Together, I believe we can put an end to bullying. This will make our lives healthier and happier!
As a class, we will learn all about what it means to be bullied, how it feels, and why bullying happens. By the end of this quest, you will be able to answer the following questions:
1) What is bullying?
2) What are the four components of the STOP method?
3) Why are there people being bullied?
4) How can I be a friend to someone being bullied?
5) What can I do if I am being bullied?
Task
The students will break up into groups of 3 or 4. Each Anti-Bullying team will take on a role: the bully, the victim, and the classmate.
Bully- The students will research and explore "what is a bully?" They will identify reasons why a child would bully another child. They will also learn what feelings are associated with being a bully, and who often becomes the target of bullying.
Victim- The students will explore why a child may become a victim of bullying. They will learn what they can do if they are being bullied. They will also explore how it feels to be bullied, who can a victim turn to for help, and how a victim can end the bullying.
Witness- The students will explore how it feels to be the witness of bullying between friends. They will also learn how it feels to be stuck in the middle of a bullying situation, and how a classmate can help put an end to the bullying

Process
Step One: The teacher will break the class up into groups of 3. Each student will be assigned a roll; the bully, the victim, or the witness.
Step Two: Once you've been assigned a roll, please follow instructions as to what your specific task is throughout the webquest. Take notes and print out information regarding your specific roll in order to help you complete your tasks!
Step Three: The teacher will introduce the book, BULLY by Judith Caseley. In addition, each group will complete a worksheet responding to questions about the book and its characters.
Step Four: The teacher will introduce the STOP method;
Stand up for yourself! Say Stop
Tell an Adult!
Others nearby, tell them!
Proud, be proud of yourself!
Each group is to create a poster about the STOP Method. Please add text and pictures that reflect the meaning for the STOP Method! We will be hanging these posters in the hallways throughout the school.
Step Five: The teacher will provide each group with a bullying senario. Each group is to create a dialogue and present it to the class as if the situation was occurring in the classroom.
