You have been hired by the curator of the Ancient Museum. Your first job is to help enhance the Mesopotamian section of the museum.  The Museum Board  feels people need to know more about the achievements of Ancient Mesopotamia and how  those achievements  have impacted  our modern society.

Posterboard Presentation 

 

You will need to create a posterboard  presentation of the THREE most important achievements made by the Mesopotamians.  Your job will be to persuade the museum Board (your classmates) that your choices have had an impact on both the Mesopotamian society and our modern society. Be sure to read the rubric so you know what is expected of you.

For this section, you will need to research 5 different areas of Mesopotamian achievements and record your findings on the record sheet. You will need to record 8 achievements and identify their impact on both Mesopotamian society and our modern society.

Part 3

Now that you have collected your information, decide which THREE achievements have made the biggest impact on our modern society.  You will need to prepare a posterboard presentation to convince the Museum Board that your choices are the most significant.  A good presentation will have pictures accompanying each achievement and the impact on both Mesopotamia and our society.

Your job will be to present a 3-5 minute persuasive presentation to your classmates.

This webquest is geared toward the study of Ancient Mesopotamian achievements.  It is intended for 6th grade students and any other students who are studying Mesopotamia. Students are required to prepare a persuasive presentation to show what they know.
