Imagine that you are placed in a time machine that is going back to the date June 6th 1944 on the beaches of Normandy. it is your job to describe what you see and research them. You will create a timeline of the things leading up to that day.

Task

You are to create a timeline of the events that lead you and the rest of the people on that beach and present it to the class. You must present more than 7 reasons or events that caused D-day to take place.

Process
  • First off you will be responsible for finding a reason to why each county was involved with the invaison was there. you will tell the class about why each was there and then after you will show us your time line of the events leading up to D-day. Each presntaion  will last at least five minutes

  • In order to find the answers to this you will need to research the links below

  • It is important to remember that creativity and some flash on your timeline is better than a boring and plain one. Be creative and use pictures along with backgrounds.
