Step 2: Discipline Exploration
This step involves the actual exploration and explanation of 5 discipline options. Upon completion of this stage the infomration gained will be substantial and will be the basis for your final decision and rationale. For each discipline option, outline and explain at least 1 advantage and 1 disadvantage.

Feel free to find other articles that can help you to define these forms of discipline also!

Step 3: Application
In this step you will apply information from step 2. For each of the discipline options listed above, create a situation in which each could be used. Explain the situation & explain how you, as a parent, would handle the situation using redirection, positive reinforcement, logical consequences, time out, or spanking. There should be 5 unique (not copied from any sites) situations and each situation should be solved using one of the five discipline options.

Step 4: Analysis
The final step of this project will be to evaluate your options and make a decision on which technique or techniques you feel would be the most effective as a parent. Be sure to include your reasoning so we can understand your though process. You will share this analysis in either a poster or power point format with the class.

Evaluation

The final evaluation will be in the form of a rubric, attached to your research information paper.
