Teacher Introduction

I created this WebQuest as an assignment for my Master's Program.

I enjoyed creating this WebQuest and think that this will be a tool that I will use in my classroom.

This lesson is for students to increase their reading skills with comprehension, compare and contrast, and story elements by reading a novel that will appeal to their interests.

The students are working in groups based on abilities. In the groups students will be reading together, discussing, and answering questions about the story. During this time I will be able to focus on reading strategies with the students, differentiate, and document whether they are understanding the reading strategies.
