Introduction
Baixada Santista is a metropolitan region in São Paulo coast region. It is formed by nine cities. That's is very important for us to know more about those cities. To do so, you should find the information required and create an infographic about each city, highlighting their strongest points. Each student should create an infographic about just one city. You should talkd and decide who is working about what city, ok?
The main objective is to know more about the place where we live. This way we can be better citizens and enjoy more what the region offers.
Task
You need to find relevant information about the cities from Baixada Santista. Some of them are mandatory, as:
- the story about its foundation - the most relevant facts;
- the economic growth in the last five years;
- the most important tourist places.
After the teacher's appreciation, you should share its files on the school's Facebook page, print it and pin it in the school's wall and finally, present it to your peers in the day of our cultural event at school - October 25, 2014.
Process
To reach your objectives, you should make a research about the topics mentionated and other, if you want, and compare it to your peers, aiming to check and share information. Remember that each student should work about a different city.
After getting the information, you shoud create a word document and send it and the infographic to the teacher's email - alexandra.limma@gmail.com
Attention to the deadline. You may include photos and videos about it .
Evaluation
The infographic will be evaluate considering its overall visual appeal, the accordance with the deadline, the mention to its information source and the content of it. The students should share information, in order to create an attractive set of infographics.
Deadline: September, 24, 2014.
Conclusion
After doing this task, you should be able to talk about and describe the cities that are part of the Baixada Santista and understand better the economical and historical relationship among them and to write a city's description, in a travel book style.
