Human Body Museum

Introduction

Welcome!

You are about to be part of the planning of a new museum coming to your area.  It will be called the Human Body Museum, and it will be all about the body, it's organs, and the body systems!  It will take a lot of research and effort, but it will make for a great museum!

Task

You and your team will be responsible for creating a body system exhibit in the museum.  You will be assigned a specific system that you will need to research and create a project about.  In your research, you will need to find out:

1.  What the system's main job is

2.  Which organs are involved in your system

3.  How the organs work together to get the job done

4.   at least 2 diseases or problems that can occur within your system

Your final project will include a graphic organizer and a detailed life-sized body drawing with your system.

Process

First, you should assign roles in your group.  You will need:

  • two researchers (they will look up information on the chromebooks)
  • 1 organizer (this person will write down all the information along with citing the sources)
  • 1 task manager (this person will oversee the group's work and correct any mistakes or fill in any missing information)

Next, use the following websites to begin your research on your assigned body system.

This site will have information about all systems:
