SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES : Students wiill be able to
1) Identify and group like terms correctly after demonstration. ,
2) Add algebraic expressions using the The Learn algebra apps on their tablets with approximately 90% accuracy after
questioning and demonstration.
3) simplify algebraic expressions by subtracting with minimal inaccuracies after further explanation, questioningand
problem-solving.

Process
TEACHER ACTIVITIES
1) Reinforce concepts taught in previous lessons by applying brrainstorm.
2) Demonstrate how to identify and group like terms
3) instruct students to open Learn Algebra application
STUDENT ACTIVITY
1) Participate in reinforcement activity by using prior knowledge.
2) complete activities written on the whiteboard.
3) solve ten (10) questions from exercise 1.2 from the learn algebra app on their computer tablets

Calculate the following:
1) 6y+12x+4y+5x
2) 13y+20x-6y-4y
Conclusion
Brainstorming indicated that previous lesson went well and students understood the content. As a result they were able to transfer learning effectively. They were able to group like terms as well. Teacher did nott have much challenge as students displayed a need for learning, hence learning and teachig occured easily.
Credits
Students will be given ten (10) points if they:
- Finish task completely
- Finish task ontime.
