Propaganda is everywhere. One of the most important skills that you will learn in English is critical literacy- how to read texts presented to you and determine what the purpose, message and agenda is. This will allow you to make intelligent, informed decisions and sort out fact from fantasy.
Your task this week is to investigate the term "propaganda" and examine the role that propaganda played in Nazi Germany. The skills and knowledge you will use this week will help you with your understanding of our novel study, "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas" as well as encourage you to be critical of all the messages you receive on a daily basis.
