Become a Textile Engineer!

Introduction

This webquest is for 6th-12th grade students in FACS, STEM, or Career exploration.  "Become a Textile Engineer" will help guide you in your exploration of what a textile engineer is and how to become one.

Task

Your task is to follow the process to gather information and answer the questions below about textile engineers:

  • What do textile engineers do?
  • Why is their job important?
  • Where do they work?
  • How can you become a textile engineer?

Once you have gathered all of your information, you will create one of the following items to inform the public about the career of textile engineers:
