Pronoun- is a word that replaces a noun; to be a pronoun the word must refer to a noun.
Eg: Amy ate a lot of ice-cream, she ate it very day.
Proper noun- A proper noun is a name of thing that is specific. It uses has a capital letter.
Eg: Australia, Kate and Anna
Noun- A noun is a person, place or it can be a thing.
Eg: Sam, Perth, pen
Preposition-A preposition links nouns, pronouns and phases to other sentences.
Eg: she reads the book during class.
(Red- noun)(purple-preposition)
Verb- A verb is a doing word.
Eg: the girl ran as hard as she could in the race.
Proper nouns refer to specific people, places, things and ideas. A person's name (Emily Harper) is a proper noun, for example. Other examples are names of places (Stunt, Georgia) and names of things (the Army).

There are homework sheets for the kids and web sites that i suggest for your help, there are many ways of learning but we find that it helps abit if the kid learns when doing the other test and subjects.

Parts Of Speech Bingo
YOU WILL NEED:
Provide each student with a blank bingo board. You may print the card below to use.
Bingo chips/paper
Container with 16 cards in it - Cut out the cards below and place them in the container.
THIS IS HOW IT GOES:
Provide each child with a blank lotto board.
Tell the students to randomly place 4 verbs, 4 nouns, 4 pronouns, 4 adjectives.
When everyone is ready draw a part of speech from the container.
Read the card and have the students cover a correct square.
The first person to cover four squares horizontally or vertically yells out BINGO.
To win the game he must read aloud each word and state its part of speech for verification.
Award the student and play again.
