Introduction

The President of the United States recently had his annual check-up and his doctor says he is not as healthy as he should be. You are each a specialist in 1 of 5 body systems, and since you are the best doctors in the country, the president’s health advisor has contacted you to come up with ways for the president to keep his body at its healthiest. Your expert knowledge is going to be crucial for the President to maintain good health. You will only have a week to develop a plan, so you all better get to work!
Task
You will be assigned to a team consisting of 3 doctors, all of whom are a specialist in a different body system. Within your team, you will make a poster containing basic information about your 3 body systems, descriptions of how your body systems work together, and things for the president to do or eat to keep these body systems healthy. You will present your poster to the president, his doctor, and health advisor.
Process

You already have been assigned to teams of three. Each team consists of three doctors that specialize in a different body system to research.
Resources for each body system are listed below. Use these websites to gain information about your body system and think about how it interacts with the other two systems.

After you have researched, you should be able to answer the following questions:
What are the main organs of this body system?
What do these organs do?
What are some ways you can keep this body system healthy?
How does it interact with the other two systems assigned to your group?
After you have completed your research, join back with your team and share what you have found. Discuss how the three systems may work together and ways that you can keep them healthy.
Finally, in your team, you will make a poster that you will present to the class. On this poster, include:
A picture of each body system
Any basic information about the systems
How the three systems interact
At least 3 tips on how to keep the body systems healthy
Evaluation
You will receive your own rubric. Some grades will be individual, such as the information on the body systems and their own presentation. The other grades will be the same for the entire group. Your grade will consist of the following components:
