Task

Running to get in shape has been around for years but it is not something you can just jump right into.  Throughout this web quest you will learn the proper techniques to running, different types of running shoes to try, what type of running is best for you and maybe even get in shape.

Process

Now that you have chosen the training plan, the work begins.  First, a calendar is provided for you, click on the link below to save the calendar to your computer.  Each week log the day you workout.  Make sure to get in all 3 as this is a major part of your grade.  Second, keep up with a journal and after one workout each week make an entry.

Credits

This WebQuest will hopefully engage the student outside of Physical Education classes and teach them the importance of physical activity as a life long goal.  The web quest will take 9 weeks to complete and at the end you will be more energetic, healthy and physically fit.
