Introduction
There are many elements to the game of baseball that must be mastered in order to be successful and thus result in a WIN! Stealing bases, masterting a perfect swing, and sliding are just a few of the endless skills in baseball. Stealing bases allows the runner to advance around the bases, thus reaching home plate quicker in order to score. There is a right way and a wrong way to stealing bases, so getting this conquered is essential to the game. You can't score if you don't hit the ball, so tackling that is one of the most important skills! Last but not least, sliding into bases is sometimes a must so knowing how to do that will come in handy as well.
Task
The learner will have to complete 3 tasks in this webquest to familiarize themselves with the game of baseball.
1. Write a summary of how to perform the properly steal a base during a game.
2. Record and submit a video of the "perfect" swing.
3. Lastly, find a video of online of what a proper slide should look like as well as write a paragraph describing a situation when a player may have to slide during a game.
Process

Remember this needs to be in your own words, so make sure you understand this skills fully before completing the summary.

Step 3: Use the following websites and videos to help you find a video of what a proper slide in baseball should look like as well as writing a paragraph of when a player would use this skill during the game.

Evaluation
*Task 1: Summary must be written in your own words and reflect how to properly steal a base during the game of baseball. Should be typed and no less than half of a page (12 Font Times New Roman)
*Task 2: Video of the "perfect" swing must be only you. No time length on the video as long as a full swing is recorded. Can be recorded on any device although a Smartphone might be easiest as the video will be emailed.
*Task 3: The video of proper sliding must be a real life situation. It cannot be someone doing a demonstration. It can be a professional or not; either will be accepted. The paragraph must reflect obvious research on the subject matter. All resources must be cited for this task.
