Introduction
Different countries have different traditions and celebrations.
Through this webquest, you will be learning about different celebrations around the world and comparing them to a celebration from our culture. After doing research you will be presenting the information to the class and listening to other celebrations.
Task
You will be working in pairs or small groups and each group must choose celebrations which are different to the ones chosen by the other groups. You will be answering questions in groups first, completing a diagram, and then each group will present their findings to the rest of the groups. For the presentations you can use different tools such as PPT, slideshare, voicethread, presentme or mybrainshark.com
Each group must choose one of the options below:
1) New Year in Argentina and New Year in China
2) Carnival in Argentina and Carnival in Venice
3)Christmas in Argentina and Christmas in the Usa
4) Independence Day in Argentina and Inependence Day in the Usa
