Introduction
Everyone loves to shoot the basketball. Today we will be learing the proper fundamentals needed to be able to put the basketball in the hoop with consistency.
even if you're a beginner you will be able to apply the basic principles. Then with proper practice and repetition you will
be able to developinto a good basketball shooter.
Task
The task today is to learn how to properly shoot a basketball. A lot goes into putting the basketball into the hoop. The formula we will use to shoot the ball is called BEEF.

Process
Each student will get into a comfortable standing position.
The teacher will explain then demonstrate the proper form.
each student will then mirror the process without a ball.
The first phase is without the basketball. The second phase includes the basketball.

Evaluation
After teaching the teacher will go around the court or classroom studying each students form. The teacher will give proper feedback where needed regarding form and positioning of the hand, feet, and body.
student will be tested on the following: the ability to hold the ball in the proper positioning; the body in proper alignment; the feet in proper position.
Students will do form shooting 1st.
At the next class period students will move to shooting at a regular basket.
