Australia. A continent full of culture. But how did it start. You may have a theory, but the accurate theory is it all started with the Aborigines.
Who are they?
How was their lifestyle?
What did their ansestors do before them?
The culture of the Aborigines is as big as the outback, we are goimg to go back in time and find this out ourselves!
Task
A history museum has hired you and two others to find out more about the Aborigines, as you can do on various websites. What is wanted of you is to learn about their daily life, traditions, food, weapons... and music. You are to make an Aboriginal instrument. The geographical history department of the musuem wants more people to know about the instruments Aboriginies used, because it was a big part of their lifestyle. Remember, you are in charge of helping people to be more informed about this intriguing topic!
Process
The Aborigines are the indigenous people of Australia. It's believed that they originally came to the Australian continent between 40,000 and 60,000 years ago over a land bridge connecting Australia to Southeast Asia. In the outback the Aborigines had many tools to use to make instruments; such as, hollow logs to make drums, Sticks for percussion, and a lot more. You may not have a hallow log lying around in your house but try to find something that is around your house. And be creative in exploring the different instruments that the aborigines used, the digoridoo is a common instrument used but dig deeper into the history of the aborigines

Conclusion
The Aborigines have many different parts to their culture. One of those parts is music. Music is a way to express happiness and sadness. The Aborigines took it into a different way and used music for worship, celebration, and many other different ways. We told you to try to recreate this culture. The whole idea is to take a trip back in time and find history about aboriginal musical instruments and then make it your own.
