Introduction
Your task is to research a famous black actor or musician. Although there are many, we would like to focus on groundbreakers, trailblazer and people who left an impact on the Arts community.
Task
Your task is to collect and present information on one of the following actors or actesses. You need to include the birthdate and, if pertinent, death date of the person. A listing of the movies/TV show in which they appeared is easlily found on imdb.com. What roles are they most famous for, and why? What effect has their career had on us? What do these actors have to say about themselves? What was their life like before they became famous? After they became famous?
Try to be creative. You can record yourself (audio or video) giving the information. You can put the information into a powerpoint or a prezi, create a cartoon, draw pictures.... use your imagination! Just make sure that you answer the questions above.
Process
You will use the webquest to explore biographies online and collect information about your person. This information will be used for the Black History program at the end of February.
