Task
As digital citizens, we hold immense power in our online presence. Understanding and respecting online rights, from intellectual property to privacy and respectful discourse, forms the foundation of our digital behavior. Every action leaves a trace, so mindful sharing and awareness of our digital footprint are crucial. In an age of misinformation, critical thinking and information literacy become essential tools to discern fact from fiction and avoid spreading harmful content. Ensuring our safety and security online, through responsible habits and awareness of threats, is paramount for our digital well-being.
Process
But our role goes beyond mere self-preservation. We have the power to contribute positively, using technology to build bridges, engage in constructive dialogue, and foster a more inclusive online environment. This translates to treating others with respect, remembering the human behind the avatar, and avoiding cyberbullying or hate speech. Protecting our privacy and that of others, sharing information cautiously, and using technology ethically are all cornerstones of responsible digital citizenship.
Evaluation
Being mindful of our online consumption habits and supporting ethical businesses are additional ways we can contribute. And when we encounter inappropriate behavior, we have a responsibility to report it, refusing to be bystanders to online harassment or abuse.

This is my digital tattoo. The gray hat hacker represents my past online activities, where I sometimes pushed the boundaries, even engaging in anonymous trolling (which I deeply regret and no longer do). However, I've also used online platforms for good, like helping to identify vulnerabilities in software through bug bounty programs. The two hands represent my current approach: I'm cautious and protective of my privacy, especially on the four social media platforms I use most (Facebook, Messenger, Twitter or X, and Wattpad). I use these platforms to connect with friends and family, share my creativity, and raise awareness about important social issues.
